Michael Phelps

Michael Phelps Michael Fred Philps, a resident of America and a winner of highest number of Olympic gold medals i.e., 14, being the highest number being by any player of this order. He is the only player to have credited the highest number of gold medals being eight inn a single Olympic event. On an overall he possess highest number of Olympic medals being 16. Among these were six gold and two bronze in Athens Olympics in 2004. And other gold medals were won in the recent Olympic event held at Beijing. In 2004 Olympics he broke two world records while in the 2008 Olympic events he broke seven world records.
He is said to be one of the greatest player of swimming events, who has 32 world records in his name. Among which are 26 individual world records and 6 are relay world records. He broke the record of Mark Spitz having the highest number of Gold medals in any Olympic event being seven recorded by him. And he also broke his record of having highest world records being 33, among which are 26 individual world records and 7 relay world records.
During his student life he was told by one of his teacher that he would not be able to achieve anything in his life. It was just his caliber which made him achieve so far. As a teenager he trained himself at North Baltimore Aquatic Club, later at the age of 15 he competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics and got selected to participate in the Olympic event and became the youngest player to be so. In his first Olympic Michael Phelps did not won a medal but finished fifth. What helped him achieve the target is high tall body of 6 feet and seven inches. Moreover his hands are also longer than the ordinary players.
