Both of them grew up in a Mosque in Baroda,in India, in an impoverished family. His father served as the muezzin.They used to play cricket on the grounds off and in the mosque grounds.Although their father wanted them to be an Islamic scholar the duo interested in playing cricket only.

Yusuf Pathan is elder brother in the duo. he entered in international cricket in the 20-20 world cup final against Pakistan. after the blasting performance in IPL 20-20 league in India every cricket lover knows that how dangerous he can prove for apposition.in the victory of Rajasthan Royals in IPL Yusuf has a remarkable role.
Both of them played a tremendous roll in in India's victory in 20-20 international match against Sri Lanka at Colombo on 11th of feb. 2009.
