STOCKHOLM: Germany has won the most prestigious Euro Under-21 Championship on Monday. Germany team outperform England in the final match. The winner scored four goals while England failed to score a single point.
England started strongly but it was Germany that grabbed the opening goal when Gonzalo Castro chipped the ball above England keeper Scott Loach in the 23rd minute.
Mesut Ozil, who set up the first goal, then made it 2-0 three minutes into the second half with an stunning free kick from over 30 yards. Sandro Wagner added two more goals for Germany.
