EAST LONDON: Mumbai Indians has lost its three last matches and now it is at the second last spot in the points table. Now, if the team wants to qualify for semi-finals, it will have to win all the remaining matches. This was accepted by Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar.
He said that runs are not flowing for the batsmen, resulted in low score and the side lost matches. The big worry is low totals. So again the team has to work on it. However, he appreciated his bowlers for their last match performance. The bowlers forced Daredevils, in the last match, to take the match into the 19th over.
Their bowling and fielding were disciplined. Sometimes things just don't click for you," he said. "It is always good to have big totals on the board but I think the positive of the game for us was that we were able to push the game to the 19th over.” The spinners did a splendid job. And they brought them back into the game.
