Road clear for Pakistani cricket players for IPL 3

The major hurdle for Pakistani cricketers is removed now. The Pak players can take active part in the third edition of Indian Premier League to be held next year. Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did not allow the Pak cricketer for participation in the second edition of the IPL on account of Mumbai terror attacks.

Ejaz Butt, Pakistan Cricket Board chairman, said that he had spoke to IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi and informed him the same. He also requested the Commissioner to ensure entry in IPL 3 of Pak cricketers. It is to be mentioned that Pak players could not participate in the second edition of IPL. Butt added that Pak cricketers would be available for auction early next year as they would be free during that period.
