Its hard to believe but if hear to the former All England champion, World No.1 during 1981, even ranked world no.3 once and one of the greatest players of Badminton in India - Prakash Padukone; according to him the youngest player of Badminton to reach a very high level and that too in the woman category - Saina Nehwal: is highly capable to reach the world no.1 in the forthcoming two-three years. According to Prakash the seventeen year old Saina possess all the essential qualities of becoming a champion in all the possible categories. She is fit enough physically and mentally with self-belief along with the approach with the technical touch in the sport.

I too also believes the very same that she owns the spirit to touch this level too. Even in such a small age she is world no.11. With the increasing approximation in her game it seems that she can even brake the rankings of 10 ahead of her. Even Prakash also said that within a year she would be able to become world no.5 and even no.1 in next coming years.

If we look to her recent recent achievements, we find that these achievements were none less than extraordinary. She reached to the quarterfinals in the Beijing Olympics and had recently won the title of World Junior Badminton. Prakash often advises her at practice ground that she needs to be selective with her coming events. So that she could take a look of her performances in between the gaps of the events. If she finds any weakness she can even correct that in these gaps. He often gives her advise to play outside in countries like Malaysia and Indonesia, so that she could become much more familiarize with the kind of sport foreigners play. Even for her defeat in the recent Olympics Prakash credits for her inexperiences of playing the game with the foreign players.

Saina seems to be a strong player from deep with in. It seems she believes in herself much ,more than anyone else. That's could be the only spirit which could make her win and make World's No.1.
